Q&A
How do you envision the future of this endeavor?
St. James is “my town”. I have lived and worked here for 35 years. My kids grew up here. This theatre has given me an opportunity to give back to the community with a project which will outlast all of us - a community center for everyone.
What is it about St. James and this organization that prompted you to do so?
It’s been a great feeling to be part of uncovering a piece of history. As I watched our men working, knowing I was involved in opening up the past to a new generation, I really felt honored!
How would you describe your personal feelings about your involvement in the infancy in this project ?
I can see this unique space in the future bringing our families together and helping our businesses - but most of all giving our children a place to enjoy and learn. That’s what’s really special.
