Natalie Weinstein, ASID Allied, is an award-winning interior designer and president of Natalie Weinstein Design Associates. A visionary leader and passionate community advocate, she is the co-founder of Celebrate St. James Past-Present-Future and served as its inaugural president from 2017 to 2021. In 2025, she will once again take the helm as president, continuing her mission to preserve and promote the cultural legacy of St. James.
Natalie graduated magna cum laude from Queen’s College with dual degrees in elementary education and music. Her passion for design led her to pursue a formal education in interior design, launching a dynamic second career. She went on to serve as a master teacher and executive director of the Willsey Institute for Art and Interior Design, helping shape the next generation of design professionals. A prominent media personality, Natalie produced and hosted the PBS television special “Change Your Home and Life with Natalie Weinstein” and was the longtime host of “The Home Show with Natalie Weinstein” on WALK Radio for over two decades. She is a sought-after speaker, founder of the Natalie Weinstein Home Decorating Club, and author of several popular books, including The 100 Most Often Asked Interior Design Questions, the Change Your Home and Life Workbook, and the children’s book Katrina’s New Room. |
During her first term as president of Celebrate St. James, Natalie played a pivotal role in reviving the area’s historic and artistic spirit.
In collaboration with Jack Ader, she produced the original stage performance “99 Minutes from Broadway”, a tribute to the town’s vibrant vaudeville past. She also spearheaded the organization’s first gala event, celebrating community leaders and difference-makers, and was instrumental in the development of Celebrate Park—bringing together local government, residents, and businesses in a successful public-private partnership.
Even after her initial term, Natalie continued to serve as a trusted advisor to the organization, offering guidance and support as Celebrate St. James evolved. Her return to the presidency in 2025 marks a new chapter of inspired leadership, driven by her enduring commitment to community enrichment through arts, history, and design.
