Historical Scavenger Hunt
The Mansion at Ebo Hill
An evening of history with special guest speakers Mayor Richard Smith and Owner Richard Albano
The event will begin with a living history scavenger hunt starting at Celebrate St. James Community Cultural Arts Center, formally the Calderone Theatre (176 Second Street, St. James). Attendees will receive a map with historical sites from where they will receive clues to enter a contest for prizes. The event will culminate at the historic Ebo Hill Mansion with a 5pm reception including music and refreshments. It will be highlighted by revealing conversations with Nissequogue Mayor Richard Smith, 10th generation descendent of Richard "Bull" Smith and Richard Albano, current owner of Ebo Hill Mansion.

The revitalization of Lake Avenue is well under way – and the best is yet to come!
Celebrate Park will be the centerpiece of the Historic Lake Avenue Cultural and Arts District. The money raised by donations from the community is building this central meeting place for the town, standing as a testament to what local government, community minded organizations, and hometown residents can accomplish together.
Celebrate Park is a major milestone in the rebirth of St. James.
